Above and Below the Sea
The suspension of time that is peculiar to being in the air or under water has long fascinated me. I found a parallel to this while photographing sea and shore in the U. S. Gulf Coast and travels further afield.

This series alternates above the sea pictures with those from below to show what is normally hidden from view and thought and how the two worlds, seemingly oblivious, are in fact deeply connected and cannot exist without each other.   -- Jan Arrigo
